Jun. 7--The Port Authority Board of Commissioners has authorized a study of possible modernization and expansion of the Central Terminal Building at LaGuardia Airport.
The study will be initiated to help the Port Authority develop plans to meet the projected growth of the number of passengers. LaGuardia is expected to handle more than 30 million passengers a year in 2015-2020, compared with 22.5million last year.
