Consultant alleges he is owed $150,000 for licensing deals
A former licensing consultant for the America's Cup Organizing Committee has filed a breach of contract and fraud suit against the group; its creator, the San Diego Yacht Club; and the club's individual members.
The lawsuit may be the first legal action specifically claiming that the 1,750 members of the prestigious yacht club are ultimately responsible for the ACOC's problems.
