The frequent changes at Fiat S.p.A. must frustrate Rick Wagoner. General Motors' CEO now has another set of top executives to get to know at the wobbly alliance partner.

Since GM and Fiat joined forces in March 2000, Fiat has had three chairmen and five CEOs. Add to that three heads of Fiat Auto S.p.A., the group's carmaking subsidiary.

The latest changes were touched off by the death last month of 69-year-old Fiat Chairman Umberto Agnelli. Here are answers to commonly asked questions about the financially troubled Italian automaker.
