Jun. 9--KERRVILLE, Texas -- Opposition is firming up against new development rules -- decried by some as municipal micromanagement -- that the city council will consider for adoption in July.
The proposed Unified Development Code is billed as a "user-friendly" document designed to achieve goals in the city's master plan. It adds rules, consolidates zoning designations, and resolves inconsistencies in existing codes.
