WHEN it comes to buying basic medicines, we don't look after the pounds, let alone the pennies - and that can be a headache in itself if you're on a tight budget.
A survey by the Consumers' Association magazine Which?, reveals that up to two thirds of us choose expensive, big-name cures believing they are better than cheaper, unbranded alternatives - even though they contain exactly the same ingredients.
