Pampered, image-conscious Angelenos will soon have the opportunity to experience a whole new level of self indulgence, for a price.
Australian real estate developers Max Moar and Ted Lustig, two of that country's richest people, are planning to open a "first-of-its-kind" spa in Beverly Hills come December.
The 10,000-square-foot former shoe store, located at 9626 Wilshire Blvd., is right now being transformed into Aclime (pronounced ak-li-may), a luxury spa where, for about $500 a pop, customers can lavish themselves with hours of massage, hair-dressing, hydrotherapy, manicures, pedicures, lounging, eating -- in short, the works.
