Jun. 8--Now, this is enjoyable. Walk in and feel the sheer delight of color, of simplicity, of just plain fun. It's the Blackburn Gallery, but it's not new. This family-owned and run gallery has been around since 1965. What is new is its location -- downstairs in Plaza Mercado.
"The location may be a little out of the way, but people are finding us," said Sue Blackburn, who does folk art paintings. Vint Blackburn, her husband (who also started El Farol) does abstracts and collages; their son "Vint-the-Younger" does the photography; a sister-in-law, Kathy Lovell does ...
