IRIS International, Inc. (NASDAQ: IRIS) a manufacturer and marketer of automated IVD urinalysis systems and medical devices used in hospitals and reference clinical laboratories worldwide, announced that the Company's annual meeting has been adjourned until 10 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2004 due to lack of a quorum.
IRIS International previously announced an inadvertent delay in the mailing of the 2003 annual reports and proxy statements to shareholders in advance of today's annual meeting. As a result, the Company was unable to achieve a quorum.
