There are bad people out there. And then there are people so vile they'll shoot the ice-cream guy.
Tarik Tabbai, the No. 1 street ice-cream vendor for Big Bell Inc., was just wrapping up for the night Monday when he was approached by a man in north Minneapolis.
"He told me, `My friend wants to buy some ice cream,' " Tabbai said Tuesday. "But they were just trying to trick me. When the first guy's buddy came up he said, `Give me your money.' "
