Maurice Greene, once the fastest human on Earth when he sped through the 100 meters in 9.79 seconds five years ago at Athens, Greece, now is the hunter instead of the hunted.

Tim Montgomery ran the race in 9.78 seconds in 2002 at the IAAF Grand Prix Final in Paris, completing his ascension to the speed throne.

Now the two fastest sprinters on the planet take another run at each other in a showdown at the Prefontaine Classic, an IAAF Grand Prix track and field meet on June 19 at Hayward Field.
