2004 JUN 19 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- TVI Corporation (TVIN) announced that the state of South Carolina has placed a $650,000 order for 42, 2-line TVI decontamination systems.
The decision to select TVI systems was based on the need for interoperability following South Carolina's purchase of 22, TVI 3-line decontamination systems in 2002.
The systems were procured through a Federal grant administered by the South Carolina Homeland Security Office and coordinated through the South Carolina Fire Academy. The systems will be delivered to the South Carolina Fire Academy, where county fire departments will train with the systems before taking possession. ...
