It's a theme heard time and again in offices throughout the city. Boomer women say Gen Xers expect too much; younger women say boomers don't realize that times have changed.
Though most will tell you it doesn't affect how they work with other women, this disconnect between the generations plays out in subtle ways, undermining camaraderie, sabotaging mentoring relationships. Sometimes, it's about how much is in the paycheck, or the title someone carries. Other times, it's an attitude, or what a woman wears to work.
