The Lane County Public Works Department has expanded its holdings on Delta Highway in Eugene, just north of Belt Line Road, by completing the long-delayed $1.9 million purchase of a warehouse and office building currently used by Qwest.
"The purpose is additional room for expansion of our facilities, and equipment storage," Lane County Public Works Director Ollie Snowden said Tuesday. "At some point, we'll do an office remodel and look at better organizing our operations out here."
