The threat of another terrorist attack is real and Americans must not become complacent, said the state's top counter-terrorism official.
"One of my biggest fears is that apathy is setting in," James McMahon, director of the Office of Public Security, told the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs Thursday. McMahon spoke at the end of the group's general session opening the group's annual gathering at the state fairgrounds in Geddes.
