Article: Royal Society of Arts under fire over devolution issue.(News)

The Royal Society of Arts suggests that the proposal to create a North-East assembly is "daft".

The Royal Society of what? It sounds like another London-based talking shop ( of which we already have too many. The Journal's report doesn't mention the North-East once, and I bet the RSA's doesn't either.

Perhaps the Royal Society should practice a bit of devolution itself and close down its central London HQ ( which looks rather opulent on its website ( and try and connect with the concerns of places like the North- East.

Or, is that daft?
