Funnily enough, Malvern's most famous playwright wasn't thinking of George Bradley Hogg. He could have been, though, for Hogg is an amiable cove. He is completely without the brash swagger of some of his compatriots and for a man who has won a World Cup final and played Test cricket in one of the strongest sides in history, he is also a modest man.
