WEST Midlands Police should consider plans to post an officer in the north Indian state of Punjab to further strengthen existing ties between the two police forces.
Dr Gurbinder Singh Aujla, Assistant Director General of Punjab Police, told the Sunday Mercury it would be 'mutually beneficial' for both forces to increase officer co-operation.
