Consolidating Community Banks Sign Data Contract
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Community Bank System Inc. said it received final regulatory approvals to consolidate its five affiliate banks into one, effective Wednesday.
The single, upstate New York institution was named Community Bank NA.
Profitability Goal
The holding company, based in DeWitt, N.Y., has assets of $630 million.
Its affiliates were St. Lawrence National Bank in Canton, Exchange National Bank in Olean, Community National Bank in Addison, Horizon Bank in Waterloo, and Nichols National Bank in Nichols.
