Many of your readers would have watched with pride the D-Day landings. And some may have read the letter in Viewpoints from TG Noel Egerton, regarding the so-called 'D-Day dodgers'.
I can concur with some of his statements.
I served with the Royal Engineers in North Africa and ending up a prisoner of war in Italy from where I escaped.
