Jun. 16--GARDEN GROVE, Calif. - If Sal Najera's life was a TV sitcom, then Me-n- Ed's Pizza Parlor would be his Arnold's Drive-In, Cheers bar or Central Perk coffeehouse.
When he earned his driver's license, Najera drove his 1970 Chevy low-rider to Me-n-Ed's to show it off to his Saddleback High School buddies. Now a La Habra Heights electrician, Najera, 45, has remained a loyal customer of the pizzeria, ordering his usual several times a month: "Original thin-crust pizza -- extra well done -- with pepperoni, mushrooms and a dash of jalapeno."
