May 18--More security screeners will arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in time for what's expected to be a record summer travel season, a homeland security official announced Monday.
Hartsfield-Jackson will get 59 additional full-time screener positions this summer. That will provide backup at the main checkpoint and enable staffing of four new checkpoint lanes under construction, said Asa Hutchinson, undersecretary for border and transportation security.
