MIAMI _ From the moment pitching coach Wayne Rosenthal and trainer Mike Kozak reached the Pro Player Stadium mound Sunday afternoon, they had nothing to discuss. They saw the blood gushing from Josh Beckett's right middle finger, prompting Rosenthal's signal to the dugout.
Beckett's outing was over.
On his third pitch to Mets outfielder Karim Garcia, yet another Beckett blister ruptured and begrudgingly landed him on the disabled list. He made two more deliveries, the second of which Garcia deposited for a two-run homer to right-center, before exiting.
