May 27--PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- An affiliate of MasterCard International is taking over a member of Rhode Island's small cadre of technology companies.
In a deal announced yesterday, MasterCard Advisors bought Watch Hill Partners Inc., a Providence consulting firm. The two private companies did not disclose the terms of the deal.
Incorporated in February 2001, Watch Hill helps companies automate sales-force tasks and simplify call-center operations. Among its clients are Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, GTECH Holdings Corp. and Textron Inc.
