May 20--EDISON, N.J.--Rohit Vyas, the news director for TV Asia in Edison, hasn't had much sleep lately.
His television station has been busy tracking Indian politics, which made news last week with an election upset and continued yesterday when Sonia Gandhi, in a move that stunned her supporters, announced she would not take the post of prime minister.
