May 17--Ecology & Environment has acquired a controlling interest in a Colorado oil and minerals consulting firm that will expand the Lancaster-based environmental consulting firm's presence in the natural resources industry.
E&E acquired a 60 percent stake in Gustavson Associates, a Boulder, Colo.-based consulting firm, through its Walsh Environmental subsidiary, which also is based in Boulder.
"We complement each other's core competencies and thereby open an enormous world market," John Murray, a Walsh vice president, said.
