NEW YORK -- Contemporary and young men's retailers had one eye on novelty and the other on price at this week's NAMSB Show.
Independent specialty store buyers were leaving paper for hot categories like ties, belts, dress shirts, costume jewelry and backpacks to build on some of their brightest businesses.
Price was a prime issue at a time when smaller retailers are attempting to draw ample profits to brave the recession.
The trade show ended its run Tuesday at the Jacob K. Javits Center here.
