Make-A-Wish went on the make-sure-to-do list of Rob Konrad following his senior football season at Syracuse University.
The starting fullback of the Miami Dolphins found himself with other NFL rookies at a photo function in 1999 at Disney World, a favorite wishing star for the children's charity. Konrad met several terminally ill children bought to Orlando specifically to have their wishes granted. It touched him so much that Konrad says he never turns down a chance to make some time for Make-A-Wish.
