Apr. 28--Almost 150 names from the "Never Summer Center" to "Slickest Spot Downtown Greeley" were considered, but in the end the "Greeley Ice Haus" won the contest to name the soon-to-be ice rink in downtown Greeley. Greeley City Council members at a Tuesday work session tentatively approved the names for the ice rink, recreation center and park, which will be created from funds from the 2002 quality-of-life election. A final vote about the names will take place at next week's council meeting.
