Apr. 28--ENGLEWOOD, Fla. -- After grabbing a spot among the area's best large deep-sea fishing boats with the Placida Queen, Mistletoe Charters LLC is testing the waters of the private charter fishing business.
The company, located at Placida Road and Fishery Road near the Boca Grande Causeway, now employs three vessels, two for private charters and the 65-foot Placida Queen.
Jack Hamilton, owner of the Placida Queen, added the Mistletoe and The .Com to his fleet in February. The two new boats are designed for specialty trips, ranging from island hopping and dolphin watching to a two-day trip to the Keys or Louisiana coast.
