Jun. 20--It's easy to see how everyone has been affected by gas prices lately, with bright, glowing signs along major traffic routes illuminating price changes on a daily basis.
Less obvious on the surface, but every bit as widespread, is a recent spike in the price of steel, a basic building block of economic growth.
From the industrial sector down to the retail level, businesses throughout the Top of Utah are feeling the pinch of skyrocketing steel prices in the face of a major nationwide shortage, and in some cases the increases are trickling all the way ...
