Jun. 20--The choices keep increasing. More national and regional builders are heading to Bakersfield, and that means home buyers have more choices when it comes to designs and builders.
And that's prompting varied reactions from industry professionals: Although the increase in builders means more choices, there's only so much building the local subcontractor base can handle, and there's only so much land available at any given time.
