PITTSBURGH, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Nearly 400 elementary students in Allegheny and Beaver Counties will spend part of their summer hatching brine shrimp, identifying fingerprints and examining plant cells as part of an effort to excite kids about science.

These pint-sized Einsteins won't be traveling to the ocean or even a university laboratory. They'll simply visit their local library for GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare's Science in the Summer program, in partnership with the Carnegie Science Center.
