STILL IN VOGUE: Those persistent whispers about Vanity Fair publisher Lou Cona replacing Tom Florio as publisher of Vogue built up to a roar this week. The only hitch is that everyone from Conde Nast president Chuck Townsend on down insists the gossips have it wrong. Townsend said Thursday there was "absolutely no truth" to the rumor, and didn't know where it might have originated. "My assumption is these things start outside the building," he said.
