SEOUL, June 21 Asia Pulse - The government said today that matters related to reforming South Korea's screen quota system will be handled by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Officials at the Finance Ministry and the Fair Trade Commission said there is widespread consensus within the government that the current system needs to be altered. They said, however, that instead of approaching this sensitive issue on a pan-government level it was better to allow the Culture Ministry to deal with it.
