May 4--PAUL SMITHS, N.Y. -- John W. Mills can get comfortable because he's not going anywhere soon.
The Paul Smith's College provost, vice president for academic affairs and interim president since January was permanently handed the school's reigns Saturday.
Mr. Mills is the college's ninth president in 58 years. He succeeds George P. Miller III, who left to take over American Intercontinental University in Dallas, Texas.
The college Board of Trustees charged Mr. Mills to continue Mr. Miller's seven-year success at increasing bachelor's degree offerings and boosting donations.
