High above a Coon Rapids driveway and miles from any body of water, Stan Sroga works aboard Vespera, his 48-foot French sailboat. The sun beating on the white plastic dome that envelops the deck has pushed up the temperature in his stifling work space. The air is stale, and sweat collects on his brow, but Sroga imagines the wind in his face.
