DENVER _ Sure, the Colorado Avalanche stunk up the end of the regular season. But this isn't the regular season.
That simple but incredibly pertinent factoid, that little piece of knowledge, should slap Avalanche fans across the face with a shot harder than Peter Forsberg can muster.
The Avalanche finished the regular season just 8-11-3-3, that included going 2-5-1-2 in the final 10 games.
One question. Who cares?
If you do, you shouldn't. Understand something about the Avalanche. The team was built for the post season. The regular season was simply a means to an end. So all this talk from my peers and the team's fans about a ...
