Apr. 9--Trucks are one way to measure the change under way: Early last year about a semi-truck a week pulled up to the factory doors at Thorud Inc. in Bloomington. Now, says president Steve Thorud, two or three trucks a week deliver metal or haul away the precision components the company churns out such as piston valves, tiny stems, couplings and hydrostatic control bodies.
