Apr. 7--All segments of the nation's economy appear to be participating in the recovery, speakers at a local forum said Tuesday.
Although the Tulsa area has lost thousands of jobs during the past few years and probably hasn't heard the last of the bad news, job-creation announcements have been picking up in recent months.
Speakers at the Edward Jones 2004 Economic Forum shared their local and national economic perspectives during a luncheon at Gilcrease Museum.
"We do see a bottoming-out and some growth coming back," said Jay Clemens, president and chief executive officer of the Tulsa Metro Chamber.
