Islamabad, June 24 (PPI): The National Assembly Thursday approved the record federal budget of about 903 billion rupees for the financial year 2004-05. The House adopted the Finance Bill 2004 with all the amendments proposed in the Finance Bill by the Finance Minister Mr. Shaukat Aziz. The new federal budget has an outlay of about nine hundred and three billion rupees including a record development programme of 202 billion rupees. The size of the budget is 12.1 per cent higher than the size of budget estimated of current financial year.
