Mar. 23--ADELANTO, Calif. -- The proposed plaza coming to the corner of Bellflower Road and Bartlett Avenue both fills a need and will lead to more commercial development in the area, experts say.
The plaza is expected to include a small market, restaurant and some other retail stores, according to Adelanto Mayor Jim Nehmens.
"It will be a definite shot in the arm," Nehmens said. "When people start to see development, more will come in." The development should only help the corner, in the northern part of town, which hasn't seen any commercial development since a small strip center was constructed back around 1988, said ...
