Mar. 18--NORTH PORT, Fla.--Success is coming in Mediterranean flavors these days as Burger King, Home Depot, Wal-Mart and possibly a YMCA health club lay claim to the North Port Tamiami Trail corridor.
As city dignitaries prepare to break ground Friday on North Port's new city complex -- which will house both the city hall and police station -- you can safely say that the city is ushering in a new period of economic growth and development.
