It vexes Ron Howard that "Arrested Development" can't get arrested.
The season's funniest new sitcom, Fox's "Arrested" is clobbered at 9:30 p.m. Sundays by NBC's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," among others. It ranks 110th on Nielsen's Hit Parade, with just 6.3 million viewers a week.
"It concerns me a great deal," says Oscar-winning director Howard ("A Beautiful Mind"), an executive producer of "Arrested." "I don't know enough about it to vie for a different time slot. Fox has been nothing but supportive. ... This is where we're going to be finally judged."
Fox will give "Arrested" a one-shot boost tomorrow at 9 ...
