Pitney Bowes Winds Down Stamford, Conn., Operations with Equipment Auction.

Mar. 11--Pitney Bowes Inc. cleaned house this week, auctioning off toolboxes, forklifts, storage racks, drill presses and other industrial equipment as it prepares to end manufacturing operations in Stamford by the end of this year.

The 1,800 items that the world's largest mailing systems maker marketed in the online and on-site auction included electric hoists, ceiling cranes, band saws, electric scooters, jack trucks, hoists, platform scales and air cleaners.
