Mar. 12--Loretta Nemeth has been using QuickBooks accounting software to manage finances at Lake County Door since 2000.
She said she switched to QuickBooks, made by Intuit, from a less user-friendly product.
Nemeth taught herself how to use the software to manage the four-employee company, but she knew there was more to learn.
"I don't think I used it to the full extent that I could have," she said.
"Whenever you're self-taught, you obviously miss things."
Since attending a QuickBooks class taught by Scott Gregory at Lakeland about a year ago, Nemeth has gained confidence in her use of the software.
