Jun. 28--IF YOU MUST KEEP IT, HERE'S HOW TO FILE IT: Today is a as good a day as any for getting your files in order. From what readers tell me, filing is their constant agony. What to keep? What to dump? Where to put them? How to find them?
The sign of a truly smart person is the ability to avoid unnecessary work. So if you're smart, you'll religiously follow the three basic rules of filing:
1. Throw it away!
2. Keep it simple!
3. Be consistent!
