WASHINGTON -- The House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations has received the documents and answers sought from Energy Secretary James Watkins relating to a survey of reformulated and oxygenated gasoline costs.

The subcommittee, chaired by Rep. John D. Dingell, D-Mich., obtained the materials from DOE last Friday, the deadline it gave for DOE to turn over documents pertaining to the controversial survey.

Dennis Fitzgibbons, an aide to Dingell, said the subcommittee will review the DOE documents "as soon as possible." He was unable to say when that would be.
