VERISONIC, INC., is celebrating its 44th year of manufacturing aluminum drumsticks and brushes. Founded in 1960 by Albert and Helen Robba, VeriSonic patented the original aluminum drumstick and later expanded its line to include a full range of aluminum drumstick sizes, mallets, and the original Gene Krupa-style brush.
Looking for an alternative to broken and warped wooden sticks, Al Robba came up with the idea of combining aircraft-grade aluminum and space-age polymers to produce a stick that not only sounded more brilliant on drums and cymbals but resisted warping and outlasted wood products five to one.
