New guidance published by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will help public sector procurement heads ensure that contractors and sub-contractors have complied with Employers' Liability Compulsory Insurance (ELCI).
The guidance states that the contractor must hold insurance of at least GBP5 million and that contracting authorities should ask to see the ELCI policy and certificate. The guidance has been written jointly by DWP and the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) and is ...
