Mar. 25--Waco's Better Business Bureau is getting better, said the man who oversees local BBB operations.
Last year, Waco's office merged with the BBB that serves Austin, Killeen and Temple, giving it access to more clout and services. Since then, branch manager Eric Thronson said, membership has grown by 25 percent.
Meanwhile, Thronson said he's speaking to as many local groups as he can, trying to drive home the point that Waco continues to have its own identity within the BBB.
"The Better Business Bureau is alive and well in Waco, and here to help," he said.
